McDonough, Rita E. (Hurney) of Quincy January 3, 2006. Beloved wife of the late James L. McDonough. Daughter of the late Michael F. and Winifred T. (Fahey) Hurney. Devoted mother of Rita C. Perry of Clermont, FL, Carol Lee Wilson of Quincy, Donna M. Dwyer of Milton, Nancy A. Carlson of Plymouth, James M. of Hingham and Robert J. of Quincy. Dear mother in law of Stephen Perry, Michael Dwyer, Theresa McDonough, Alisa McDonough and the late Richard X. Wilson. Loving grandmother of Michael & Karen Dwyer; Kelly Lee Wilson; Robert Kristen, Stephen, James, Michael, Jeffrey & Ashley McDonough; Michelle Jaffarian; Jennifer & Stephen Carlson. Loving sister of the late Evelyn Wright, John Hurney, Winifred Miller, Leo Hurney & Francis Hurney. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many devoted nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. After raising her children, Mrs. McDonough worked in sales for Remick’s Department Store in Quincy and Jordan Marsh in Braintree. She was a member of Our Lady’s Sodality and a communicant of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Hough’s Neck for 60 years. Her devotion and love for all her family knew no bounds.
