Ward, Rita C. (Dolan) of Quincy formerly of Lawrence April 8, 2005. Beloved Wife of the late Ralph F. Ward. Loving Mother of Marion E. McCarthy of Hull, Laurence F. Ward of PA, Catherine R. Pickett of Marshfield, Margaret Ward of Quincy, Robert J. Ward of Reading, and the late James R. Ward. Daughter of the late James R. and Catherine Dolan (Cooligan). Sister of the late Paul V.,Marion E. , Sr. Marion Louise SND. and James J. Dolan. Cherished Grandmother of 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Mass from Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in St. Marys Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawerence. Donations in memory of Rita may be made to Hancock Park Activities Team, 164 Parkingway, Quincy, MA 02169. Rita was born and raised in Lawerence, MA. Ms. Ward graduated from St. Marys High School in Lawrence and she attended Lowell Normal School. She was member of St. Josephs Sodality, Archbishop Williams Mothers Guild and The Merry Shores Seniors Club. She was a secretary for the City of Boston Department of Public Welfare for several years.
