Rita A. Harding

Harding, Rita A. (Donovan) of Hyde Park, died December 26, 2014.

Born and raised in South Boston.  Beloved wife of Robert Harding, Sr of Hyde Park.  Devoted mother of Marie Harding Daniel and her fiance Michael Hatfield of Quincy, Anne Harding Breen and her husband Robert of Scituate, Robert F. Jr. of Quincy, Michael P. of Grafton, Patricia Harding Pratt and her husband Chuck of Shrewsbury, Rita A. Harding Bacon of Weymouth, Joseph T. Harding and his wife Valerie of Medfield, plus 17 cherished grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Donovan. Sister of Mary MacDonald and the late Francis, Anne, John, Joseph and Thomas Donovan.

 Rita was a dedicated RN for many years, She was a graduate of the Chelsea Memorial Hospital School of Nursing class of 1955. Friday December 26, 2014, Rita had a peaceful end to her long and courageous battle against both Brain & Breast Cancer. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation on   Monday December 29, 2014 from  4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15am Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East 4th Street, South Boston, MA 02127, Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
