Rick G. O’Hare

O’Hare, Frederick G. “Rick” of Florida, formerly of Halifax, passed away July 21, 2012. Beloved son of George F. O’Hare and Susan K. (Burke) O’Hare of Squantum. Loving brother of Brian E. O’Hare and his wife Cheryl of Marshfield. Uncle of Alissa and Ethan O’Hare of Marshfield. Nephew of Catherine (O’Hare) Lawless of FL. Cousin of Paul Lopez and Nancy Meola, both of FL. Rick grew up in Halifax and spent the last 20 years living in Florida. He was a 1986 graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School. His true passion was the Boston Red Sox and he was a lifelong fan. He enjoyed current events, talk radio, sports radio, and his oldies music. He was drawn to Florida’s warm weather, sunshine and beaches and never looked back. Rick loved animals, especially his dogs and cats. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
