Richard P. Trainor

Trainor, Richard P. of North Quincy, formerly of Hanover, passed away February 20, 2015.  Beloved father of Richard P. Trainor Jr.  of Hanover and Jeremy J. Trainor, his fiancee Crystal and granddaughter Scarlett of Scituate.  Son of the late John E. and Esther A. Trainor.  Loving brother of  Jack Trainor of Plymouth, Frank Trainor and his wife Yogi of Braintree, Ginny Trainor and her wife Jane of North Quincy, Robert Trainor of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Noreen Murphy of Quincy and the late Rosemarie Regan and Missy Trainor.  Former husband of Theresa Trainor of Hanover.  Brother in law of the late Linda Trainor.  Richard is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  

Richard was born in Boston.  He was a graduate of North Quincy High School.  He worked in the Auto Body industry for many years, starting out at Body Craft in North Quincy then later opening his own business Whitman Body Work in Abington.  His passion for skydiving started in 1974 leading to him becoming a semi pro skydiver.  His other interests included motorcycles, speed boats and was an avid reader.  Most of all Richard’s greatest love was his family.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy on Tuesday visiting hours 4 – 8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home at  9:45 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
