Richard P. Bowes

Bowes, Richard P. “Dick” of Dorchester, died September 5, 2015. 

Dick was a man who was always there to help others. He was generous, supportive, always happy and never discouraged.  Dick was family oriented and would put everyone before himself.  He enjoyed bowling, gambling and music.  Dick was an avid sports fan, and most enjoyed golf. His main passion was his family and spending time with those he loved.  Dick will be sadly missed.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Simonne Bowes (Martineau) of Boston.  Loving father of Diane Deagle of Quincy, Michelle Coote and her husband Kevin of Weymouth, Margo Ritchie and her husband Glenn of Medford, Debra Bowes of Dorchester and Michael Bowes of Dorchester.  Devoted grandfather of Kevin Jr., Jillian, Thomas, Michael, Matthew, Alex, and Jake. Cherished great grandfather to Emma, Marissa, Thomas, and Lia.  Caring brother of Nancy Murray of Sandwich and the late Robert Bowes, Shirley McLaughlin and Edward Bowes.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Services will be private.
