Richard Mavilia

Richard (Richie) Mavilia of Hull, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, August 15th 2021. He was 71.

He was born to the late Grace (Tricomi) and Alfred Mavilia. Born and raised in Weymouth, he graduated from Weymouth High School. Richie was a manager at Bay Pointe Marina, where he worked for 25 years. Known for his excellent people skills and his legendary memory. “Best guy I ever met.” is how people often referred to him.

Richie was the beloved husband of Andrea (Reno) Mavilia, of Hull, father of Stephen Mavilia and his wife, Stacey of Hanson and loving grandfather of Rylan Mavilia. Brother of Ronald Mavilia and his wife Susan of Cohasset, David Mavilia of RI, and Paul Mavilia and his husband Dennis Shaw of Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
