Skinner, Richard J. of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, suddenly April 27, 2005. He is survived by his beloved wife Helena (Bernardino) Skinner and his former wife Joanne Murray. Loving father of William (B.J.) Skinner, Olivia A. Skinner and Gregg P. Skinner of Weymouth, Richard M. Skinner, Laurie B. Skinner, and Lisa Jayne Skinner of Braintree, and his daughter-in-law Kerry Skinner and his granddaughter Lauren Ashley Skinner of Plymouth. Brother of Elizabeth LeClair, Robert Skinner and Walter Skinner of Dorchester, William Skinner of Pocasset, Thomas Skinner of Easton, Anne Marie Bianco of Abington, Daniel Skinner of Weymouth and Michael Skinner of Natick along with many nieces and nephews. Son of the late William C. Skinner and Jean (Dempsey) Muscato. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 9 AM. Visiting hours Friday 3 – 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Richie may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army. He coached Dorchester and Lower Mills Youth Hockey, Cedar Grove Little League and Weymouth Youth Baseball. Richie enjoyed playing golf and loved all Boston sports. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a Beatles fan. Richie was a Probation Officer for the Commonwealth of MA, but formerly worked as a Campus Police Officer at Curry College from 1983 – 1995. He was a graduate of No. Quincy High School and Boston State College.
