Richard J. O’Handley

Richard J. O’Handley, “Dickie O”, ageless and timeless, of Quincy, on Thursday, December 12.  

Devoted son of the late Violet and Jeremiah Lucey.  Beloved brother of Buddy O’Handley and Peggy Calella and the late Milly McDonald, Della Lucey, Martha Polmer, Barbara Scott and Dotty Cummings.  He will be remembered and missed always, by his many nieces and nephews. Uncle Ricky, Richie, Mr. O’Handley will be remembered for his humor, loved for his warmth, and respected for his strength.

Dickie O.  was a friend of Bill  W. in the Quincy area, and was proud to have recently celebrated 33 years of sobriety.  His many friends in the fellowship will remember him fondly. A proud United States Air Force Korean war veteran.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
