Melchione, Richard J., Jr. of Hull, suddenly December 21, 2006. Beloved son of Georgiene E. (Gilbrook) Melchione of Hull and Richard Melchione, Sr. Devoted husband of Adeline (Pompeo) Melchione of Braintree. Cherished father of Richard J., III, Anthony Domenic, and Jayme Louise. Caring “Papa” of Jackson. Loving brother of Angela Melchione of Hull, Anthony Melchione of Hull, Domenic Melchione of Quincy, and Joleen McDonald of Quincy. Also survived by the Gilbrook and Melchione families, many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Wednesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Richie had a great sense of humor and a wonderful personality. He was known as a “jokester” with always something to say. He always treated everyone like they were family. He was a loving son and father. He had many loyal and devoted friends. Richie was well known and well loved in the community. Richie was the owner and operator of a towing and repair business in Hull. He also did work for the Big Dig. Richie was a dedicated and hard worker.
