Joyce, Richard J. of Naples, FL, formerly of Quincy, unexpectedly May 16, 2007. Devoted husband of Geraldine “Jeri” Joyce of Naples, FL. Beloved father of Jonathan Joyce of Arlington, Mary Dudutis of Quincy, Christine Dean of Quincy, and David Dudutis of TX. Loving brother of Stephen Joyce of FL, Barbara Joyce-Moulton of Boston, Carol Zemaitis-Bastis of FL, and Susan Joyce of Brockton. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Patrick, and Brandon Dean, and McKenzie Dudutis. Nephew of Helen Anastas of Dorchester. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM. Cremation will follow. Richard grew up in Holbrook, graduating from Holbrook High School. Richard worked for over 30 years as a sheet metalist for Local Union # 17 out of Dorchester. Richard and his wife Jeri have been residing in Naples, FL during the winter months and NH during the summer months. Richard was a member of the Elks in Randolph and Naples. He loved football and boating, but most of all he loved being with his family and friends.
