Richard H. “Dick” Renahan

Mr. Richard H. “Dick” Renahan, of Plymouth, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 28, 2023. He was 89.

Dick worked for many years for Polaroid as a Corporate Traffic Manager until his retirement in 1992. Dick was a huge Patriots fan as well as a season ticket holder for many years. Family was everything to him and his wife, Bessie and enjoyed attending their sporting events as well as dance recitals for his daughter Diane and granddaughters, as well as Brianne’s and Shannon’s soccer games and Shawn’s hockey games.  In his spare time, Dick and his wife enjoyed wintering in Florida and loved a round of golf. Dick and Bessie loved hosting their annual 4th of July pool parties at their Weymouth home with family and friends. Dick had a great sense of humor and always could be found telling a joke or a funny story. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Loving father of Katherine Savage and her late husband Mark of Pembroke, Diane Cummings and her husband David of South Weymouth, and the late Linda Renahan.

Brother of the late Phyllis Whittier.

Proud Grampie to  Shawn, Brianne, and Shannon.

Great Grampie to  Avery and Evelyn “Evie”.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
