Richard H. Buckley

Buckley, Richard H. of Middleboro, died April 5, 2017.

Dick grew up in North Quincy and was a graduate of North Quincy High School. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Dick served during the Korean Conflict. He was on the Quincy Police Department for 34 years, retiring as a Sergeant. Dick was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Weymouth Elks, he thoroughly enjoyed to golf as well.

Beloved husband of Mary Buckley and the late Beverly Buckley. Father of William K. Buckley and his wife Lucy of Middleboro, Robert J. Buckley and his wife Janet of North Attleboro, Mary and her husband Mark Carney of Weymouth, Edward Sweeney of East Bridgewater, Joseph and his wife Leslie Sweeney of Plymouth, William and his wife Clare Sweeney of Lexington and Daniel and his wife Maureen of Abington. Treasured Papa to 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Loving brother of William J. Buckley of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
