Richard G. Lindsay, Sr.

Richard G. Lindsay, Sr. of Quincy, died August 30, 2016.

Son of the late James W. and Mary (Connelly) Lindsay. Loving father of Richard G. Lindsay, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Quincy. Devoted grandfather of Sean Lindsay and his companion Tricia Hulme of Quincy. Great grandfather of Ethan Richard Lindsay. Brother of Marion Karocozian of Quincy and her late husband Charles. Mary Heirty of Lakeville and her late husband Jay. Steve Lindsay and his wife Fran of Weymouth, James Lindsay of  Weymouth and his late wife Dorothy and the late Kay and Leo Heffernan and Charles “Tiny” Lindsay.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Richard was a member of Local 103 – IBEW. He was a lifetime member of the Old Colony Yacht Club in Dorchester. Richard was the owner of the Dot Tavern in Dorchester for many years.  He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping. Richard will be remembered as a devoted father and cherished grandfather who will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
