Cunningham, Richard G., Jr. of Buzzards Bay, formerly of both Quincy and Weymouth, September 14, 2006. Son of the late Richard G. and Madeline Cunningham. Husband of Elizabeth Schlosky of Buzzards Bay. Father of Robert Cunningham of Irving, TX, Patricia Fallon of Rockland, Thomas Cunningham of San Diego, CA, Mark Cunningham of Boston, William Cunningham of Quincy and Weymouth, and the late Michael Cunningham. Brother of Helen Gately of NH. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Lifetime employee of the New England Telephone Company and Local 2222 of the IBEW. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard Cunningham may be made to American Lung Assoc. of Massachusetts, 460 Totten Pond Road – Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. Richard was a resident of Buzzards Bay for the past 6 years. Prior to that he lived in Quincy for over 20 years and So. Wey for over 20 years. After high school Richard joined the Naval Reserves for several years. Richard was very hardworking man. He was a lifetime employee of the New England Telephone Company and Local 222 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. His interests included real estate, card games, and reading. He was very successful with his real estate involvement. He was involved with Cape Cod Trust Investors Club which he ran and he was also the President of Systems Council T6 IBEW.
