Richard E. Russell

Russell, Richard E. of Quincy, passed away February 6, 2011 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Margaret (Wilson) Russell. Loving father of Margaret E. Pitcher of Manchester, NH, Cynthia Ann Russell of Quincy, and the late Richard E. Russell, Jr. Devoted grandfather of Annmarie Mingoia and William M. Craig. Great grandfather of Ashley, Haley, and Christina. Dick was one of eleven siblings and is survived by his brother Paul Russell of FL, Dorothy Phinney of NH, Ellie Russell of FL, and many nieces and nephews. Dick proudly served in the U.S. Air Corps during WWII. For 37 years, he worked for the U.S. Postal service and retired in 1983. He was a daily communicant at St. Ann’s Church. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
