Richard E. Lagerquist

Lagerquist, Richard E. of Hingham, formerly of Quincy, died September 8, 2019.

Richard was born in Quincy to the late Waldo and Nellie. He grew up in Quincy and attended Quincy High School. Richard was a proud United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He worked for many years as a mechanic at Mass Tire in Weymouth and Merchants Tire in Quincy. He enjoyed dragster racing, fishing, skiing, being outdoors, spending time at the cottage and always being on a boat.    

Father of Lynda M. Lagerquist of Wareham, Kim DuPonte of Dedham and Richard T. Lagerquist of Quincy. Grandfather of Matthew Carrozza and Isabel Loiacano and great grandfather of Emma and Anthony. Dear friend of Wayne Monahan of Hingham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
