Richard E. Beath

Richard E. Beath, 49, of South Weymouth, formerly of Pembroke, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2013.

Rich worked as a sprinkler fitter with Local Union 550 for over 25 years. He served on the Executive Board of Local 550 and was also a member of the Elks and Eagles Organizations. Rich loved his family and was extremely proud of his four sons. He enjoyed traveling to tropical destinations, golfing, fishing, boating and the active role he played in each of sons’ lives. He also took great pride in finding a bargain and sharing it with his family and friends. Rich will be remembered for his quick wit, strong work ethic and friendly nature.

Devoted father of Richard E., Jr., Tyler P., Ryan C. and Nathan J. Beath, all of Pembroke. Former husband of Laurie (Croke) Beath of Pembroke. Cherished son of the late Donald and Grace (O’Malley) Beath. Loving brother of Mary F. Beath of Braintree and Donna M. Beath of Boston. Dear friend of Johnna Lewis. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
