Richard “Dick” Kent

Kent, Richard “Dick” of Hingham , December 2, 2002. Beloved son of the late John S. Kent and Margaret (Agnew) Kent. Brother of Mary K. Hamel of Hingham, John S. “Jack” Kent, III of Columbus, IN , Peter Kent of Long Beach, CA, Philip Kent of New Meadows, ID, Michael Kent of Chatham and the late James P. Kent & Margaret K. Rooney. Richard is also survived by 34 nieces and nephews and 66 great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Saturday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 9AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Richard was educated at St. Coletta’s School , currently called Cardinal Cushing School located in Hanover. He also attended St. Coletta’s School in Jefferson, WI. Richard later began working and living there. Richard truly loved children and was loved deeply by his nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. He enjoyed gardening and working in the outdoors. He retired back in 1996. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard may be made to Cardinal Cushing Centers, 405 Washington St. Hanover, MA 02339
