Gallo, Richard of Quincy, died May 10, 2013.
A lifelong resident of Quincy, Dick was a Quincy High School graduate and a member of the American Legion Houghs Neck Post # 380. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean war and was a proud veteran. Dick was the assistant wiring inspector for the town of Cohasset, where he worked for many years. He enjoyed going on cruises and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of Rosemarie (Tantillo) Gallo. Loving Step-Father of Dawn Marie Maglio of Braintree and the late Donald Maglio Jr.. Brother of Helen Shannon of Hanover, and the late Eleanor Cedrone, Patrick, Joseph and Louis Gallo, Louise Twomey, Marie MacMurray, Agnes Curry, Virginia Davies, Dorothy Curtin and Jeanne Nelligan. Step-grandfather of Stephen Venuti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews especially Mary Whitman, Diane Berg, Lorraine Bermingham and Cathy Gallo.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, May 14 from 9 – 10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers donations in Dick’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
