Richard “Dick” Cobb

Richard  T. “Dick” Cobb of Braintree, formerly of Roslindale and Mission Hill, passed away November 20, 2016. 

Beloved husband of 54 years to Kathleen (King) Cobb of Braintree. Loving father of Colleen Foley and her husband John of Braintree, Jeff Cobb and his wife Claire of Dedham, Michele Kilmain and her husband Charles of Braintree, Daniel Cobb and his wife Erin of Pembroke, Kevin Cobb and his wife Kristen of Marshfield and Sheila Dowd and her husband Joseph of West Roxbury. Dear son of the late Martin T. and Kathleen (Hanafin) Cobb.  Devoted brother of Maureen Murphy and her husband James and Kathleen Gibbons and her husband Terrence all of Weymouth. Cherished “Papa” of 15 grandchildren.  Dick was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
