Richard D. Housman

Housman, Richard D. of Marshfield, formerly of Hingham, died June 27, 2014 at the age of 77.

Dick worked in sales for many years and was the owner and operator of Richard D. Housman and Associates, a manufacturers’ representative agency selling to the automotive aftermarket. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and photography. In retirement, he and his wife grew and sold daylilies at their home in Marshfield.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Carolyn (Whyte) Housman. They were both graduates of Hingham High School, class of 1955.

Loving father of Michael & wife Melanie of Plymouth, Mark of South Miami, and Douglas and wife Tabitha of Hull. Brother of the late Phillip and Alfred.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Hingham Cemetery.
