Richard D. Hall “Ricky”

Richard D. Hall “Ricky” of Boston and formerly of Dorchester and Quincy, passed away Thursday February 28, 2019, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston following a lengthy illness, he was 63.  

Born in Boston, he was a son of the late John W. Hall and Winifred L. (Regan).  Richard was a 1973 graduate of Boston Technical High School, and was a member of the 1967 Eastern Mass. Champion, Hyde Park Valiants Drum and Bugle Corps, and later was part of the road crew staff for the Boston Crusaders.  An accomplished drummer, music was very much a part of Ricky’s life.   

Richard is survived by his brother of John E. Hall  and Ellie Johnson his partner of Weymouth,  and was the brother of the late Maryellen Hall; uncle of Joanne Robertson and her husband Thomas Robertson IV of Quincy, Meghan Mitchell of Quincy, and grand uncle of Keira Robertson and Thomas Robertson V. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30.  Burial will be private, at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ricky’s memory to the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps, P.O. Box 51391, Boston MA 02205.
