Rev. Henry P. Boivin

Rev. Henry P. Boivin, a Catholic priest, of Boston, returned to God on October 4, 2013 at the age of 84.

Fr. Boivin was ordained at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury in 1957. He served at the Parish of St. Mary in Wrentham, St. Christine’s Parish in Marshfield, St. Monica Church in South Boston, St. Theresa of Avila Parish in West Roxbury, St. Paul Parish in Hingham and as Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Franklin and Holy Ghost Parish in Whitman. Before retiring to the Regina Cleri Residence in Boston, he served part time at Immaculate Conception Parish in Weymouth.

He was the loving brother of Annette Webber of Norwood, Louise Daley of Satellite Beach, FL and the late Jeanne Boivin. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-7 PM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 720 Broad St., East Weymouth, where the Funeral Mass will also be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM. Burial in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Donations in memory of Fr. Boivin may be made to the Regina Cleri Residence, 60 William Cardinal O’Connell Way, Boston, MA 02114.
