Regina H. Macdonald

Regina H. (Hoover) MacDonald of Weymouth, died peacefully at home on March 5, 2022 at the age of 94.

Jean was a long time faithful parishioner of St. Albert the Great Church in Weymouth  and was an original member of the Albertines. She enjoyed spending summers in Dennisport with her family. She loved the beach. Jean was born and raised in Hastings, PA and worked for U.S. Steel in the company library. She was kind and loved spending time with her many friends. 

She had a beautiful marriage of 61 years to the love of her life, the late Gerard E. MacDonald. Loving mother of Lee Ann MacDonald of Weymouth; and Gary MacDonald and his wife Kathy of Sandwich. Also survived by a granddaughter, a great grandson, many nieces, and nephews. Sister of Joseph Hoover of Weymouth, the late Robert Hoover, the late Elizabeth Smith, the late William Hoover, and the late James Hoover.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Wednesday from 8:45-9:45 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at Wednesday 1:15 PM.
