Raymond R. “Ray” Page, Jr.

Page, Raymond R., Jr., of Hingham, died on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Beloved husband of Rita E. (Armstrong) Page of Hingham. Loving father of Karen Alexander and her husband Jim of Halifax. Cherished grandfather of Kristin and Susan Alexander; both of Plymouth. Brother of Arthur Page of RI and the late Mary Capobianchi and Russell Page. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ray loved his family and his home. In fact, he built the home they have been living in. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1944-1946. Ray and Rita have been married for 63 years. A sheet metal worker by trade, he worked at and later owned the Page Sheet Metal Co. He was also a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #17. Mr. Page enjoyed woodworking, boating and loved his pets. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially for the Red Sox and Patriot’s. Ray was kind, loving and compassionate. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 4 – 8PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Thursday, May 6, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church at 10AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
