LaCoursiere, Raymond R. of Hingham, passed away June 4, 2011. at his home. He was 85. Beloved husband of 61 years to Paulette (Goulet) LaCoursiere Loving father of Beverly A. Tuzzalino and her husband, Robert, of Georgetown, and Cliff A. LaCoursiere and his wife, Elaine of Southborough. Proud grandfather of Nicole LaCoursiere of NY, NY and Mark LaCoursiere of Raleigh, NC. Brother of Marilyn Badolato of Shelton, CT, and the late Richard LaCoursiere. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Raymond was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and had lived in Hingham for the past 40 years. Until his retirement, he worked for twenty five years as a District Manager for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Raymond was a member of Saint Paul’s Men’s Club, Toastmasters International and the Sierra Club. He was an avid boater and enjoyed photography. He was also a quiet and private man and always enjoyed being around his family and his two beautiful grandchildren. He was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Raymond may be made to St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street, Hingham, MA 02043 or to Glastonbury Abbey, 16 Hull Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
