Devoted Grampy of Payten & Taylor. Loving brother of Madelyn Jackman of Quincy & Patrick Jackman of Duxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 1-4 PM. Cremation will follow. Detective Jackman worked as a Police Officer for the Boston Police Department for 33 years. For 14 of his years he worked as a Prosecuting Officer at the Boston Municipal Court and then worked his way to Detective in Area A; a job that he loved. He began his career in law enforcement as a Hull Summer Police Officer at the A Street Pier. Detective Jackman enjoyed gardening. He loved spending time at home with his family and entertaining friends. He was a member of South Shore Neptunes, a skin diving club. He will be remembered as a devoted police officer, a loving husband, Dad, Grampy, brother and friend.
