McPeck, Raymond F. of Quincy, December 22, 2004. Husband of the late Helene (Keating) McPeck. Beloved father of Joseph McPeck of FL, R. Patrick and his wife Janice McPeck of Marshfield and Denise Matthews of FL. Father of the late Edward McPeck. Brother of George and his wife Dottie of Middleboro, Rita of Bridgewater, and Robert McPeck of FL. Cherished grandfather of Sheila and her husband Jay Hill, Heather and her husband Mike O’Brien, John, Steven, Christopher, and Jason McPeck. Great-grandfather of Cameron and Michael. Loving cousin of Dot Gonyea. Devoted uncle of John Carson. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Mr. McPeck retired in 1982 from Boston Gas after working for them for 30 years. He was very active in the Quincy community. Various memberships include the Knights of Columbus and the Furnace Brook Golf Club. Raymond was active in the Quincy Senior Olympics and the New England Race Walkers. Mr. McPeck was an Instructor of the Quincy Youth Boxing and a New England Middleweight Golden Glove Champion and also active in Ring 4. Enjoyed playing tennis and skating. He was a South Shore Figure Skater. He was a WWII veteran in the US Army and was a recipient of the Purple Heart, Battle Participation Star and a Good Conduct Medal. Donations in memory of Mr. McPeck may be made to Bedford VA Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
