Raymond P. Benedetti

Benedetti Jr, Raymond P. of Weymouth, died on April 9, 2025. Ray was born in Weymouth and lived there all his life. He worked as a purchasing agent at Sigma Industries for 35 years and for the Town of Weymouth as a school and library custodian before retiring. He enjoyed the Blues and Zydeco music, walking and bird watching, and loved to travel with his wife, Chris. Ray was devoted to his family and pet cats and was well known for his kindness and generosity. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him. Beloved husband of the late Chris Benedetti. Loving father of Elizabeth “Betty” Fisher and her husband, Wayne, of Holbrook, Deborah “Debbi” Benjamin of Weymouth, the late David Chase of Randolph, and R. Patrick Benedetti III and his wife, Inez, of Brighton. Grandfather of John Gillis, Morgan Benjamin, and Eric and Craig Fisher. Great-grandfather of John Gillis and Daxton and Mairin Fisher. Brother of Nancy Kenrick of Weymouth and the late Steven and Joe Benedetti.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4/14/25, 10-12pm with a service at 12pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Society
