Ralph J. Bergonzi

Bergonzi, Ralph J Ret. QPD of Braintree, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2012. The beloved husband of Denise (Marella) Bergonzi of Braintree. Loving father of Paul W. Bergonzi and his wife Jennifer and Laura Latini and her husband Rick all of Quincy. Son of the late Louis & Claire (Hyder) Bergonzi. Brother of the late Paul Bergonzi. Cherished grandfather of Robert, Ashley, Jake and Madeline Bergonzi and Zachary, Jake William and Megan Latini. Ralph also leaves his furry companion his Newfoundland Bear. Ralph lived in Quincy for many years before moving to Braintree. He worked as a Quincy Police Officer and retired back in 1988. He enjoyed fishing and relaxing on his boat. Ralph will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father and cherished grandfather who will be sadly missed. Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue,Boston, MA 02115. Services were private.
