Ralph E. “Soupy” Campbell

Campbell, Ralph E. “Soupy” of Weymouth, passed away July 15, 2017. Ralph grew up in Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth High School. He earned his Associates Degree in Criminology from Northeastern University. Ralph was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a proud policeman for 40 years on the Weymouth Police Department. Ralph was a member of the Weymouth Elks and enjoyed boating and vacationing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of the late Diane J. (Evans) Campbell. Cherished companion of Nancy Diagnault of Rockland. Loving father of Laurie C. Reed and her husband Paul Reed Sr. of Plymouth, Scott Campbell and his wife Janet Toussaint of Plymouth, Glen Campbell and his fiancee Tracy Leach of Newton and Julie Cadose and her husband Christopher Cadose of Plymouth. Proud grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Alfred, Paul, Donna and Barbara. Predeceased by his siblings Herbert and Ruth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, Weymouth. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
