Raffaela E. Dipaolo

DiPaolo, Raffaela E. “Lil” (Caputo) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester and the North End, died June 25, 2014.

Beloved wife of 57 years of the late Amando J. “Buddy” DiPaolo.  Devoted mother of Anthony J. DiPaolo and his wife Judy of  Foster City, CA, Linda A. Monaco and her husband Anthony of Quincy, Stephen A. DiPaolo and his wife Beverly of Harwich, and Janet E. DiPaolo and her husband Mark Kolkebeck of Quincy.  Loving sister of Sam Caputo and his wife Marie of Arlington, Celia Eastman of Monterey, CA, Jeanne White of Newton and the late Nancy Schena and Pat Caputo. Dear sister-in-law of Anthony Schena of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Gregory DiPaolo and his wife Jen of San Matteo, CA, Steven DiPaolo and his wife Laura of Redding, CA, Anthony Monaco IV and his wife Kerry of Quincy, Peter Monaco of Charlestown, Marissa Monaco of San Francisco, CA and Jories DiPaolo of Harwich. Loving Great-grandmother of Giuliana, Anthony V, Jackson, and Lorenzo. 

Lil was a beautiful seamstress who taught Adult Education evening classes at South Boston High School as well as Girls Latin School.  For many years, she volunteered at the Dorchester House. Lil loved spending time with all her family and friends. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 11AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 12 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
