Rae F. Coughlin

Coughlin, Rae F. of Attleboro, formerly of Quincy September 18, 2007. Devoted husband of Helen (Joyce) Coughlin of Attleboro. Beloved father of Edward Coughlin and his wife Cindy of Mansfield, Joan and her husband Paul Grady of Attleboro, Theresa Coughlin and Ellen Godsoe both of Pawtucket, R.I. Loving brother of Patricia and her husband David LeBrecque of Abington, and the late Richard and Fiby Coughlin. Cherished grandfather of 9 grandsons and 5 granddaughters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Rae F. Coughlin may be made to Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, MA 02446-9918. Rae was a private, reserved man who loved his family. He was a machinest for Dresser Masoneilan for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. Rae was a proud member of UAW Local 470. He was an avid Drum Corp fan of the “Defenders” and Manager of the “Renegades”. Rae loved to read, he would read 1-2 books a week. He was a life long Red Sox and Patriots fan. Rae adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
