Haley, R. Kelly “Bobbie” (Kelliher) of Westport, formerly of Quincy, Bridgewater and Key West, FL, August 17, 2005. Beloved wife of Peter Haley. Loving mother of Patricia Kerry Haley of Taunton, Edward “Ted” Haley of Brockton and the late Christopher E. Haley. Sister of Patricia Kelliher-McClure of NH and Alan “Moe” Mahoney. Devoted grandmother of Alicia Haley, Aleah Bagge and Maranda Haley. Great grandmother of Jahdari Haley Houston. Sister in law of Pamela Duffy of Belmont. Aunt of Brian, Barry, Megan and Maura McCormick. Bobbie loved to write both prose and poetry. She danced up until her illness would not allow her to and her favorite song was, “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Bobbie also enjoyed water sports, skiing and boating. She was a registered nurse and studied pain management. She was a member of the American Pain Society. Bobbie was on the founding committee of the Brockton Area Hospice in the early 1970’s and worked in hospice for five years. It was hospice that came to help Bobbie this past week and she received compassionate care from the South Cove Hospice. Above all else, she loved children especially her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 11 AM. Visiting hours will precede the service on Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 AM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Mrs. Haley may be made to the Chris Haley Scholarship Fund, c/o Massachusetts Maritime Academy, 101 Academy Drive, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
