Phyllis M. Corthell

Corthell, Phyllis M. (Hutchins) of Hingham died on June 14, 2008. Wife of the late Erville C. Corthell. Mother of Lawrence Corthell of Vermont and Linda Campbell of Norwell. Sister of Lawrence Hutchins of Quincy, Barbara Galvin of Halifax and the late Albert & Ralph Hutchins.Grandmother of Lawrence Corthell, Jr. and the late Robin Trowbridge. Phyllis is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. A long time resident of Hingham, Phyllis was a devout catholic and very active at Resurrection Parish in Hingham. She held the position of head sacristan. Phyllis was a devoted mother and grandmother. After her health began to decline, she moved to the Allerton house in Hingham before moving to Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury where she died early Saturday morning. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM. Burial will be private.
