Phyllis E. Fopiano

Phyllis “Penny” E. (Williams) Fopiano of Hingham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones, May 19, 2016. 

Daughter of the late Henry J. and Raphaela (Bouno) Williams.  Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Richard F. Fopiano, Sr.  Loving mother of Richard F. Fopiano, Jr. and his wife Lori of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Alex and Lauren Fopiano both of Dorchester.  Dear sister of Anne Wilson of Agawam, Carol Baltucci and her husband Donald of Hingham, Louis William and his wife Roberta of Norwell, Beverly Russell of South Dennis, Priscilla Duggan of Topeka, KS, Charlotte Collins of Brockton, Henry Williams and Kathy of Marston Mills, and Donna Setzco of Worcester.  Phyllis is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Penny worked her entire working career at Jordan Marsh/Macy’s in various capacities. She enjoyed shopping and referred to Macy’s as “the happiest place on earth”. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and grandchildren, especially her trips to Disney World with her family. In recent years, she enjoyed Sunday family dinners and talking to her sister on the phone. 

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation Monday morning from 9:00 -10:15 AM  in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a funeral mass at 11:00AM in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth. A Christian burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
