Phyllis A. Amonte

Amonte, Phyllis A. (Fanizzi) of Hingham March 10, 2009. Beloved wife of 63 years to Sam L. Amonte. Loving mother of Diane & husband Larry St. Laurent of Hingham, Annette & husband Stephen Barrett of VT, and Rose & husband Lance Yodzio of Hingham. Devoted “Gram” of Louis, Richard, Eric, Paul, Ben, and Samantha. Great “Gram” of Jake, Henry Samuel, and Kaitlyn. Sister of Joseph Silipo of Brewster, Richard Fanizzi of Brockton, Louis Silipo, the late James Silipo, and the late Steve Coscia. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Phyllis enjoyed cooking, bowling, and spending time with family. A lover of music, she was a longtime member of the St. Paul’s Church Choir, where she was also an active parishioner. She was a member of the Son’s of Italy in Hingham. She will be greatly missed by all those she touched. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date.
