Philomena S. Gustafson

Gustafson, Philomena (Caruso) of Quincy, formerly of Milton, January 7, 2008.Wife of the late Daniel Gustafson. Mother of John Gustafson of Framingham, Janet Porter of OH and Daniel Gustafson of Quincy. Sister of Mary McBride of Melrose and Anthony Caruso of Braintree. Philomena is predeceased by 13 brothers and sister. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Philomena grew up in Dorchester, she was one of 16 children. She lived in Milton for many years and spent 40 years in Quincy. Philomena worked at Jordan Marsh in Boston and then later at the Bank of Boston in Dorchester. Most recently, she was a resident at the River Bay Club in Quincy. She will be remembered for her caring, friendly and outgoing personality. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleassure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2- 4 & 6- 8 PM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Donations in memory of Mrs. Gustafson may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
