Philip N. Grasso

Philip N. “Zeke” Grasso, Sr a retired sales representative for Sysco Foods passed away at his home in Abington on Tuesday March 5, 2013. He was 84 years of age.

Beloved husband of the late Alice (Maxwell) Grasso. Devoted father of Cynthia A. Grasso of Rockland, Philip N. Grasso, Jr of Whitman and David V. Grasso of Simi Valley, CA. Proud grandfather of Michelle, Jonathan and Nicholas Grasso. 

Born in Boston, Zeke was raised and educated in East Weymouth moving to Abington in 1958. He served in both the US Army and the Marines during the Korean War. He was an avid Boston sports fan and athlete in his own rite. He played hockey, basketball, loved to golf having scored 3 hole in ones in his lifetime and also enjoyed hunting. He was a member and chaplain of the VFW in Abington and a former member of the Sons of Italy in Weymouth. 

 Zeke’s family is planning a private funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Abington VFW at 30 Central St, Abington, MA 02351.
