Philip L. Ricciuti

Ricciuti, Philip L. of Quincy passed away surrounded by his loving family November 23, 2016.

Philip was a lifelong resident of Quincy. He was a proud veteran of the US Army Air Corp. He was co-owner of the Hancock Monument Company for 71 years and was still working up until his last hospital stay. Philip attended Boston University for an education in Business Administration. Along with running his business, family was the cornerstone of Philip’s life. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Red Sox and poetry.  One of his greatest joys in life was cooking for his family for family gatherings. Philip was a devout Catholic and will always be known for his positive attitude. In the last few years, he adopted the line “it is what is it”. With many medical challenges, he defied the odds. He was a very kind, compassionate, giving, loving and generous man. Philip will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Son of the late Giovanni and Anna Ricciuti. Loving husband of the late Teresa M. Ricciuti. Dear father of Ann Moran and her husband Joseph of Milton, Jean Ricciuti of Quincy, John Ricciuti and his wife Brenda of Northborough, and Charles Ricciuti and his wife Julianne of Weymouth.
