Petro “Altin” Jaco

Petro “Altin” Jaco, of Quincy, MA, formerly of Korce, Albania, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of Terezina and Stiljan Jaco of Weymouth, MA, Loving father of Terezina “Ina ” Jaco and Alex Jaco, Dear brother of Diana Friday of Weymouth, MA, Irma Jaco of Korce, Albania, Keti Simaku and her husband Kostika Simaku of Quincy, MA. Cherished uncle of Greg “Gori” Vangel, Elion and Andi Kotelli, Elena and Stavri Simaku and great uncle of Sophia, Amelia, Jurgen and Leon and very dear to many relatives and close friends.

Petro was predeceased by his grandparents Sotir and Afroviti Joco, Jak and Agetina Banda, his sister Maria, and his Uncles Gjergji, Jovan, Eftim, Nikolin, Frederik and his aunt Antoneta.

Petro will always be remembered for his bubbling personality, great sense of humor and for always looking at the bright side of life. He was the life of the party and leaves behind a big void.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family 10 AM – 12 PM, Saturday, May 25, at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH, 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1 PM at The Holy Trinity Albanian Orthodox Church, 245 D St, South Boston, MA 02127. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
