Mullen, Peter Jude of Randolph, formerly of Quincy died suddenly on December 24, 2006 at the age of 50. Beloved son of Geraldine ( Bruzzese) Mullen of Quincy and the late Peter F. Mullen. Step son of Russell Carney of Quincy. Loving brother of Donna Murphy and her husband Jack of Abington, Diane Jackson and her husband Paul, Carolyn Mullen, Cynthia Mullen, all of Quincy, Shawn Mullen and his wife Nancy of CO, Laura Plant and her husband Neal of Weymouth and Michelle Mullen of Quincy. Loving boyfriend of the late Debbie Stachew. Peter is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, step brothers and sisters and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Peter may be made to South Shore Mental Health, 500 Victory Rd., Quincy, MA 02171. Peter grew up in Quincy, he was considered a team leader in the neighborhood because he was the one to organize all the sports with the neighborhood children. Peter graduated from Quincy High School Class of 1974. He then attended U Mass – Boston. He loved baseball , especially the Red Sox . Peter had a passion for writing. He enjoyed going to the discovery program here in Quincy. Peter came from a large family and he loved his family get togethers. Peter was very appreciative of all who assisted him throughout his life.
