Quinn, Peter J., Sr. of Rockland, formerly of Quincy, February 15, 2006. Beloved husband of Tara (O’Brien) Quinn. Loving father of Jacqueline & her husband Harry Brett of Hanson, Peter J. Quinn, Jr. & his wife Debra of Abington, Michelle & her husband Sergio Garcia, and Kathleen Quinn, all of Quincy. Brother of John Quinn, Jr. of Quincy, Marianne Richard of Marshfield, Dorothy Quinn of Humarock and Patricia Keeley of MT. Son in law of Richard E. O’Brien of Scituate and the late Barbara A. (Spadorcia) O’Brien. Brother in law of Richard O’Brien, Jr., Kathleen Wirtz, Laura O’Brien, Lisa Pickering and Kirsten O’Brien. Uncle of Michael R. O’Brien. Peter is also lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 1-4 & 7- 9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Peter worked as a firefighter for the City of Quincy, retiring in 1992. He owned Quinn & Son Painting in Rockland. He received the Heroism Award from the Morrissette Post in May of 1970. An outdoorsman, Peter enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
