Peter F. Gallagher

Gallagher, Peter F. of Weymouth, died January 22, 2015.

Peter was born in Co. Mayo, Ireland. He was a graduate of Peterson School of Engineering in Boston. Until his retirement, he worked for many years as a steam engineer for the State of Massachusetts. 

Husband of Bridget (O’Malley) Gallagher. Father of Edward F. Gallagher and his wife, Michele, of Weymouth, Michael P. Gallagher of Weymouth, Mary T. Gallagher and her husband, Al Silvia, of Braintree, and Kathleen M. Muse and her husband, Thomas, of Weymouth. Brother of Nora Reilly of Worcester, and many deceased brothers and sisters in both Ireland and England. Grandfather of Kelsey, Greg, Liam, Andrew, Jack and Chrystal. Also survived by and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.) 

DUE TO THE UPCOMING SNOW STORM, PETER’S FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED ON THURSDAY JANUARY 29, 2015 AT 10:30 AM IN SAINT JEROME’S CHURCH, WEYMOUTH.

 BURIAL WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE IN VILLAGE CEMETERY, WEYMOUTH
