Peter E. Boyle

Peter E. Boyle of North Weymouth, MA, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 surrounded by his loving family on November 3, 2016.

Beloved husband of Ruth (DeViller) Boyle.  He was the proud father of Janet Killinger and her husband James of Rockland, Peter M. Boyle and his wife Lily of Florida, Diane Chebator and her husband Paul of Rockland and Jean Sullivan and her husband Richard of Weymouth. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren, Jolie, Rosemary, Jill, Michael, Cory, Eric, Kathy Ann, Melissa, and Marybeth. Also survived by 9 cherished great grandchildren.  He is the brother of Daniel Boyle of Weymouth.  He was predeceased by his parents John and Anastacia Boyle , 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Peter proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was employed by New England Telephone Company for 42 years. He was a retired member of Local #222 and Telephone Pioneers of America. Peter enjoyed spending time with his family, swimming with his friends at Wessagusset Beach and spending the winter with his wife, Ruth, in Madeira Beach, Florida. He will be forever remembered as a compassionate man, always guiding and supporting his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday  9:30AM – 11:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Rockland at 12:00 PM. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
