Pauline W. Thompson

Thompson, Pauline W. (Foley), 91,  of Wareham formerly of Weymouth died May 24, 2014.

Pauline, know as Pat to her friends and Nanny to her family was born in Hartford, CT, and grew up in New Jersey.  She attended Colby College, where she met the late A. Francis Thompson, to whom she was married for over 50 years. 

Pat lived in Weymouth for 62 years. She loved spending time with her family and working in her yard and gardens. She enjoyed being outside, but also was an avid reader and always had a jig-saw puzzle in the works.  Pat was a talented artist, painting seascapes and portraits of the various family dogs.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Dorcas W. Jepson and her husband Donald of Wareham; her son, John A. and his wife Lynn of Freeport, ME; her three grandchildren, Matthew, David and Alex; her two great-grandchildren Kathryn and Daniel.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 10-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Burial will be private.
