Mrs. Pauline Edgar Quinn, daughter of the late Charles B. Edgar and Mary Ellen Forestall Edgar died at the age of 91 on October 2, 2018 in Tequesta, Florida. She was born on April 19, 1927 in Quincy, Massachusetts. Pauline graduated from Quincy High School and upon graduation was employed by New England Telephone as a clerk/secretary. She was united in holy matrimony to Francis H. Quinn on May 8, 1954. This union was blessed with 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grand-child. Her loving husband, Fran preceded her in death on June 26, 2014.

Pauline Quinn was an active member of the South Weymouth community, St. Francis Xavier parish and served her family and others with much joy and love. She had a zest for life that was appreciated by her family and her many friends. It was always Pauline’s dream to live in Florida. After their three oldest children graduated from college, Pauline transferred to Bell South in West Palm Beach and she and Fran moved to Jupiter in 1981. Pauline and Fran thoroughly enjoyed their new Florida home, vacationed all over the world, traveled to their Pembroke cottage each summer, and visited their children and grandchildren often. No matter what life gave them, Pauline and Fran were devoted to each other, their children and grandchildren. They each shared a deep love and loyalty to family. Pauline celebrated life and was known for her eternally positive attitude. Pauline is now with her beloved husband and friend for over 75 years, Fran Quinn. She will be missed by all who love her!

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Edgar Hurley, Irene Edgar Sillars and Dorothy Edgar Hallett; and brothers, Charles Edgar and Robert Edgar. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children Maryellen Quinn-Lunny, William F. Quinn, Paul J. Quinn and Robert E. Quinn; her son-in-law James F. Lunny and daughter-in-law, Marie-Josee Quinn, Pamela Quinn and Caroline Quinn; as well as her 11 grandchildren Amanda, Courtney, Sean, Patrick, Ryan, Kyle, Nevin, Shannon, Kara, Nellie and Katie; and her 1 great-grandchild Grant. She will also be missed by a host of devoted nieces and nephews; grand-nieces and nephews and many family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be sent in honor of Pauline Quinn to Hospice: Trustbridge, 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.
