Pauline’s family gave her the most enjoyment in her life. She loved spending time with her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Pauline was known for her contagious smile. She always made the best of any situation no matter what stage of life she was in. She was very compassionate and always made sure that others were taken care of before her needs were met. Mrs. Treacy enjoyed bowling and participated in many leagues throughout the years. She was also a master seamstress, making clothes for her children when they were young. Mrs. Treacy attended a continuing education program at Quincy High School in the evenings. It became a night out for her and her friends and they acquired sewing skills as well as learned many other crafts. Pauline had a great love of the outdoors, especially the ocean. She often remarked that there was only one year, while living in Atlanta, GA, that she was more than two blocks away from the water. She loved to walk and never owned a car. She took advantage of public transportation and met the most interesting people in her travels. She worked as a bookeeper for 15 years at Roger W. Kent Company of Quincy.
