Pauline Cavallo

Pauline Cavallo passed unexpectedly on March 29, 2022 after a very brief illness.

Pauline was a lifelong Weymouth resident who graduated from Weymouth North High School. Pauline spent 40 plus years working in the hospitality industry making many beloved friends over the years. Pauline was the loving mother to her five children, a second mother to her siblings, and a Mom to anyone who walked through her front door.

She was known as the matriarch of  this large Italian family, and was the glue that held it all together. Pauline was incredibly proud of her Italian heritage and passed down many traditions over the years that will be remembered forever. She truly believed that family was everything. The legacy she left will live in our hearts and souls forever. Aside from being a mother she split her time between beaches on the South Shore where you could find her in her lounge chair baking in the sun. She had the most glorious tan all year round.

Her love for the ocean was passed down to her children and grandchildren where many happy moments were spent on the shores. Pauline was an avid New England Patriots fan and September through February you could find her sitting front row of every home game. Many Sunday-Fun-Day’s were spent together as family watching football. She was amazingly proud of all of her children and every single day she spent on this earth was devoted to them. The last 13 years her most cherished job was being a Nannie to her 9 grandchildren. You would find her on the sidelines at any sporting event cheering them on. They were and always will be the loves of her life. She will be missed by us all, but we will find peace knowing she is eternally resting in the golden hour watching over all whom she loved. We will walk hand in hand again where the sky meets the sea.

Beloved daughter of Rose Cavallo of Weymouth and the late Orlando Cavallo, Sr.

Loving mother of Ritchie Gotell and his wife, Blanid, of West Roxbury, Kellie Barhight and her husband, Neal, of Weymouth, Krista Gotell and her significant other, Mark Mahoney, of Abington, Kerrie Genes and her husband, Matt, of Weymouth, and Nicholas  Svizzero of Weymouth.

Loving sister of Angela Stewart and and her husband, Peter, of Quincy, Regina Brown and her husband, Butch, of Florida, Orlando Cavallo, Jr and his wife, Shelly, of Pembroke, Anthony Cavallo and his wife, Melissa, of Weymouth, Paul Cavallo of Marshfield, Teresa Fettig and her husband, Bob, of Hanson, and the late Marilyn Cavallo. Cherished Nannie to Caleb, Logan, Hunter, Declan, Delaney, Mollie, Madeline, Martin, and Gordon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and an honorary mother to many.
